Bairro Museu

Sunday I went with Mom & Tia Maria to see a potential apartment for us in Bairro Museu, the neighborhood where the Museum of Natural History is. We visited the museum together then passed by the "Professors Park" where we met Rufino & his family!

Independence Day in Mozambique - 25th June

Eliana came again, on Moz.Independence Day, for a pizza party. Steve (http://pedalingsteve.blogspot.com/) --colleague of Tio Peter from CDC Atlanta, also staying together-- is an expert pizza maker.

Tio Peter hosted a welcome for us, with Daniel Lee and Carla and her son Malik, Eliana came too!

Mom feels so lucky to have such a cool and nice friend Peter, who agreed to host us (Mom,Dad,Tia Maria & me) while we find our new home in Maputo.

Road Trip - Passing Quelimane

We drove down from Nampula to Maputo, sleeping over with Aunt Berta in Quelimane, where I met her daughter Missava. I also met her son Tininho and her husband Helio.

Along the way, we met my grandparents (Avô Seda & Avó Madalena) in Mocuba. I also got to meet Aunts Kanya, Ana Maria & Malita in Quelimane. We were sorry Mom & Dad forgot to take pictures!

Tio Augusto worked with Mom in Manica for 6 years and in Nampula for 4 years!

Dra. Isaura (Chefe Dept. RH -DPS) is Mom's great colleague/chefe/friend at work and in Nampula.
